This project explored editorial science articles about the future, moving from exciting to strange to unsettling. I aimed to show how the future initially appears promising, but some emerging technologies raise moral questions, prompting deeper reflection on the direction of human progress.
Exploring darker themes
I wanted to explore articles with darker themes to create a narrative within the zine, using it as a storytelling tool about the future. As the reader progresses, each article becomes increasingly unsettling, making the future feel more ominous with every page.
